New Building
Since 2022 the Baltic has been producing monthly Newbuilding price assessments for various vessel sizes and classes, built in China. Vessels range from Newcastlemax to Handysize, VLCC to MR and LPG and LNG carriers. There are four different container vessels, from large 15,000 TEUs to 1,900TEU feeder vessels. The Panellists are experts in the Chinese Newbuilding market.

Assessments are priced in USD per metric ton and basis 5,000 mt or 10,000 mt shipments (and 40,000 mt for vegetable oils).
