Members will learn with deep regret of the death of Mr John V Carter. 

Mr Carter was first elected a member of the Baltic in 1978. He represented Cargo Chartering (1981-82), Bunge, and Intrada Shipping & Trading Associates Ltd (1986-1995). In 2000 Mr Carter became a Retired Member.

His funeral will be held at 1200 on 12 July 2016 at South Essex Crematorium, Ockendon Road, Upminster, Essex  RM14 2UY.

Afterwards the reception will be held at Marygreen Manor Hotel, Brentwood, CM14 4NS.
