Freight Market Forum: Athens

This provides a unique opportunity for those interested in finding out more about Baltic services and new benefits to membership that are being developed. Guests will hear an overview of adopted and proposed revisions to market benchmarks and how important changes to our data policy will impact those commercially using Baltic market data.
Co-hosted with the FFABA, the Forum will open with a free masterclass FFA workshop led by Nikos Nomikos of Cass Business School, outlining with practical examples, how FFAs can be used by principals as a tool to manage exposure to freight rate volatility. This will be followed by a panel discussion exploring expert perspectives on the outlook for dry bulk from both a physical and futures context.
After the Forum, the Baltic and FFABA invite all attendees to relax over lunch on the terrace.
