On Thursday 9 February, 10 members of the Baltic Fly-fishing Society (BFS) and their guests attended the Annual Dinner of the Lloyds Fly-fishing Society (LFS) which is their "parent organisation". The LFS have over three hundred active members and Baltic members may apply for membership by association. Over the last few years we have built a core membership of Baltic Fly-fishers who greatly enjoy fishing together, often on LFS water on beautiful rivers such as The Test and Itchen. The LFS dinner held each year at the Honourable Artillery Company's City headquarters is a great opportunity to meet like minded anglers and swap stories from the riverbank. This year we had the added excitement of Baltic Flyfisher Duncan Dunn lifting the cup for the best trout of the year.

The BFS aim to have several outings annually and have access to top quality fishing at very advantageous rates. If you are interested in joining please contact the Chairman Duncan Dunn on duncandunn@ssy.co.uk or Hon. Sec. Crispin Eccleston on eccleston@hotmail.co.uk
