The Baltic Exchange Cricket Club has concluded another eventful season, marked not by trophies but by camaraderie, expanding membership, and memorable events. While inclement weather limited the team to just two matches this summer, resulting in one win and one loss, the club’s true victories lay in its growing community and vibrant calendar of activities.

The year began with a training net session at The Oval, setting the stage for a packed schedule. Social highlights included a well-attended Sixes event, offering members a chance to connect off the pitch. On the cricket front, the traditional all-day match against Lloyds proved a highlight, with players enjoying a day of glorious sunshine, spirited competition, and fantastic teas.

The club wrapped up the year with its annual Christmas gathering at The Footman, drawing over 20 attendees from across the Baltic Exchange community, including brokers, principals, and club members.

Looking ahead, the club is already planning for the 2025 season, with ambitions to expand its fixture list to include both T20 evening matches and longer-format afternoon games. The club welcomes all members of the shipping community to get involved, whether they’re seasoned players or new to cricket.
