The lunch, which drew an impressive crowd of about 140 Members, commenced with a warm welcome and drinks, followed by a delightful lunch. Lord Jeffrey Mountevans, Chairman of the Baltic Exchange, lead the occasion with a spirited speech to honour all present, which reflected on past successes at the Baltic Exchange and future prospects for the shipping industry, including decarbonisation and the impact of vessel disruptions. He ended his speech with a loyal toast, expressing his gratitude to Members, council and staff, both past and present, for their continued support and dedication to the Baltic Exchange.
