Retired members return for a memorable lunch at Merchant Taylors' Hall

The Baltic Exchange recently hosted its annual lunch for Retired Members at the esteemed Merchant Taylors’ Hall, one of the Twelve Great Livery Companies of the City of London.

Welcoming around 140 Members, the occasion began with a drinks reception before guests sat down to enjoy a delicious lunch. The event was led by Guy Hindley, the new Chairman of the Baltic Exchange, who delivered an engaging speech. His remarks honoured those in attendance and touched on both the rich heritage of the Baltic Exchange and the evolving future of the shipping industry, including the challenges of decarbonisation and vessel disruptions. He concluded with a loyal toast, offering sincere thanks to all Members, council, and staff, past and present, for their unwavering commitment to the Baltic Exchange.
