The Baltic Exchange is pleased to announce it is sponsoring the top prize at a new competition from the Royal Society of Marine Artists (RSMA), entitled 'Afloat or Ashore', a competition to create a painting of one of our historic vessels located in ports and harbours around the United Kingdom.

The prize of £1,000 will be awarded to a work depicting and celebrating a vessel on the National Historic Ships Register, ranging from large ships to canal barges. You can find out more about the range of vessels from the National Historic Ships UK website here.
