At the National Maritime Museum, there is a new photography exhibition on Women of the RNLI. The exhibition celebrates the RNLI’s 200th anniversary, highlighting the invaluable contributions of the organisation’s female volunteers in saving lives at sea.

At weekends on Cutty Sark, visitors can meet the captain, chat to the cook or speak to the ship’s figurehead, Nannie – hearing stories of the ship’s history and learning more about how she operated. These character encounters are included with entry, and are a perfect opportunity to engage children with the world-famous tea clipper!

There’s plenty to see at the Royal Observatory, from stories of the time pieces that helped solve the problem of longitude to our spectacular Earth from Space exhibition which takes a closer look at the world through the satellite’s lens.
