Chris Allen

Members will learn with deep regret of the death of Chris Allen on 6 October 2024.

Mr Allen was first elected a Member of the Baltic in 1964. During his membership, he represented Wescol (Europe) Ltd and Magdar Shipbrokers Ltd before setting up his own company CEBA Shipping.  Mr Allen became a Baltic Retired Member in 2002.

Mr Allen also captained the Baltic Exchange Golfing Society in 2002 and took on the role of Hon. Secretary 2004-2008.  

There will be a celebration of Mr Allen’s life on Friday 18 October at 15:00 at GreenAcres Chiltern Park, Potkiln Lane, Jordans, Beaconsfield, Bucks, HP9 2XB
